The Shufflebuilding Game of Total Awesomeness!

What do pirates, ninjas, robots, zombies, aliens, wizards, tricksters, and dinosaurs have in common? Theyre all trying to take over the world! But they can't do it alone, so theyre teaming up.

Smash Up, designed by Paul Peterson, is the all-new Shufflebuilding game from Alderac Entertainment Group. In Smash Up players take two factions, such as pirates, ninja, robots, zombies, and more, and combine their decks into a force to be reckoned with!

When the game begins, players take turns drafting one of several faction decks. Once each player has two decks, they shuffle them together, combining their distinct abilities into a unique 40-card deck. Players then deal out a number of Base cards, and play their decks to attempt to have the most power on a base when it is scored.

It may sound simple, but how simple is it when your opponent’s Zombie-Ninja Assassinate your minions then create an Outbreak, loading the Base with minions from their discard pile? Or when their Pirate-Dinosaurs Full Sail onto the base with the mighty King Rex, whose massive power dwarfs that of other minions?

Each combination gives a different experience, Pirate-Aliens play very different than Pirate-Zombies, and with 8 factions in the base set there are tons of combinations to try out!

Every combo brings a different experience in this fast-paced shufflebuilding game. Take two 20-card decks, smash them together, and then rock your opponents faces!

Each faction has a different style: pirates move cards, zombies come back from the discard pile, dinosaurs are just freaking huge. Each pairing creates different gameplay. And each game is a different throw-down!

Is Smash Up a game you can live without? Not if youre awesome. Choose a side. Choose two! And start the carnage!

The "shuffle building" game Smash Up begins with a simple premise: take the 20-card decks of two factions, shuffle them into a deck of forty cards, then compete to crush more Bases than your opponents! In Smash Up: Disney Edition, players will choose two decks of fan-favorite Disney factions and combine their powers to take over Bases, earn the most Victory Points, and win!

During the game, base cards (each with its own difficulties and abilities) are at stake. By playing cards from your hand, you try to have the most power on the bases with your minions when the base is broken.

When a base is smashed, each player in first, second, and third place scores points.

The It’s Your Fault! expansion was created using input from the fans of AEG’s popular Smash Up card game, allowing them to vote on the four faction themes that would be included in the box. The ultimate winners included in the box will be Sharks, Superheroes, Greek Myths, and Dragons. Like other Smash Up factions, each group will have their own set of cards with unique abilities.

It’s Your Fault! includes 88 new cards, 4 card dividers to help with sorting, a token sheet, rulebook, and a secret "Shark Delivery System." Smash Up is for 2 players, but can be expanded to 4 by combining multiple sets, and is intended for ages 14 and up.

Werewolves – From howling at the moon, to cowing their pack, or ripping through town, the werewolves are here to assert their place as the alphas of Smash Up. Using their explosive power to beat down opponents, the werewolves will not relent in their drive to hunt and dominate all that stand against them.

Smash Up is the game where each player smashes two weird factions together and tries to crush all the others. The factions in this set are Munchkin races and classes: Orcs, Warriors, Halflings, Clerics, Dwarves, Elves, Thieves, and Mages! All the factions have different powers, and every team-up is different.

Just when you thought Smash Up might escape... the International Gaming Authority reminded us we were honor‑bound to include Cthulhu in one of our products. So we set on to make the Cthulhu‑est product ever which you will soon hold in your hands.
