What does the availability info mean?
Availability: now means we should have the item free for delivery in Helsinki either at our warehouse or at the store. If it is at the store only
it'll typically add one business day to mail order delivery and if it is at the warehouse only it'll normally add one business day to have it ready for pick up at the
store. Our other stores have smaller stock but we re-stock weekly from Helsinki so a pick up from one of the other stores should be available within
approximately a week.
If the availability shows a date or a month and a year it is supposed to be available at that time. If the time is in the past it obviously did not make it
but we do not have an updated estimate. It may be delayed because of freight issues or because the product is still at the printers or in development etc.
If the text delayed has been added to the estimate the delivery was confirmed over a week ago but something has gone wrong and the item is still
missing. This might mean the shipment was misplaced during freight or the supplier accidentally delivered the wrong item and we are waiting for a solution
to the problem.
If an item is temporarily out of stock the availability shows an estimate in the form of 2-3 weeks or similar which is not a guarantee that it
takes that long nor that it will be here within that time. It is an estimate based on the supplier's usual order frequency and delivery speed.
If the availability info contains (if requested) that means it is not normally stocked and we order it for you after you order it from us.
You can order this kind of an item without paying anything in advance by making a reservation for it through the shoping basket. If it is
now (if requested) it means it is normally not stocked at the store so you need to make a pick up order for it to be delivered to the store from
our warehouse.
If availability is uncertain it may be out of print or there might have been unexpected delays in our re-stocks which in effect means it is out of
print. At least it is not expected anytime soon. You can try your luck and reserve one.
World situation. There is a lot of uncertainty due to COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine. Unfortunately many products
are expected to take much longer than usual to get reprints and to
become available again because of these issues. Shipments are also typically delayed and in most cases we do not have an accurate idea of when
they will actually reach us.
