Each 17-piece set is made of high impact plastic for years of use. The King measures a full 3.75". The pieces are standard weight and have a soft felt bottom. They come packaged in velveteen bag that matches the color of the pieces. As an added bonus, an extra Queen is included in each set for pawn promotion.

Chess as we play it today is an orderly game with unbreakable rules. But it was not always so. Once man tinkered freely with every aspect of the game, changing the configuration of the board, the way the pieces moved, even the way a king was mated. With that spirit in mind we created Chaos Chess, a series of mix-and-match rules for chess that allow you to create your own chess experience!

You could add Chaos Chess Cards to a normal chess game. Or you could play them with our Chaos Chessboard. You might use the Chaos Chessboard to play 2 player games, but then you might want to play with 4-players. You might even play one of our unique games like Warlord Chess, Stonewall, or The Fields of Death. And if you really want to mix it up you might play an 8-player variant of Cross of Death on a cylindrical board, with Chaos Chess Cards thrown in for good measure. Like we said... you can create your OWN chess experience.

Knightmare Chess is chess played with cards!

The cards break the rules in wild and unpredictable ways. Some affect a single move, and some change the entire game. Knightmare Chess plays quickly out of the box, but it also includes variants, and it’s easy for players to customize. The possibilities are endless, and so is the fun!

This new edition includes Knightmare Chess 2, for a total of 158 beautiful cards, each painted by Rogério Vilela.
