A quiet village with simple people, they learned the hard way the Blacktooth Ridge casts a deep and dark shadow. Seeing rich prizes in cattle and grain, people and other movables, Gritznak the Gnoll has come down from the Blacktooth with loot on his mind. At their wits end, the villagers turn to others, more experienced in combatting evil. They look to a rising knight to save them...

Agents have hired out the infamous Redcaps to raid along the Hruesen River and Baron Botkin wants them brought to justice. For here resides one of the Witch Queens of old, and she has surrounded herself with the remnants of the Horned One`s armies and the cohorts of those wrecked and ruined in the foul pits of Aufstrag!

Wicked Cauldron is a 5th Edition Adventure.

Called to seek out the source of the Baron Dietbold of Ludensheim`s wealth and power, one runs the gamut of greedy merchants, corrupt sheriffs, and the diabolical machinations of those who seek conquest of this land. It begins in the town of Elne and consists of a number of loosely connected encounters for the characters as they travel through the Darkenfold. They begin as soon as the characters enter the wood and lead them to and down the Powder River.

All roads through the Darkenfold are dangerous, and the tracks to Willowbreak are no exception. From the beginning travelers must hazard a number of dangers, from the flooded river and submerged bridge, to lonely foot paths, ensorcelled bar keeps, giants in the water and eagles that burn. Upon the Powder River offers six loosely linked adventures that pit the characters, their wits and brawn, against a number of deadly encounters, both magical and mundane.

Upon the Powder River consists of a series of short adventures, which in turn offer the enterprising Game Master the opportunity for numerous side treks and adventures. It is easy to port into any game and sections can be played or skipped over as needed. The adventure explores the eastern reaches of the Darkenfold, from the Perth Timberland, to the Damenheit Bridge, to the town of Willowbreak and beyond to the wild and dangerous Bent’s Trading Post.

Upon the Powder River is an adventure for 3-5 characters of around 4-7 level.

The town of Haverstraw suffered the depredations of a cabal of wizards for many years, until they were at last able to drive them into the wilderness. They kept them at bay with an oathstone, parading the magical device in public so that all would know. But the stone has vanished, stolen by some miscreant, who himself perished in the wooded country of the Darkenfold.

The Darkenfold is an ancient forest, deep and malevolent. It is a wilderness that has drawn creatures to it, great and small, for many long years. As such it is filled with adventure, forgotten wealth and for those who survive, glory and renown.

Harvest of Oaths combines over-land travel from a Trading Post in the Darkenfold, and it involves challenges in both combat and role playing. It is not a traditional adventure module that consists of one dungeon or one goal, but rather consists of a series of short adventures, which in turn offer the enterprising Castle Keeper the opportunity for numerous side treks and adventures of their own design all the while threading them together, if desired, with the oathstone.

Harvest of Oaths is an adventure for 3-5 characters of around 4-7 level.

Built high on cliffs overlooking the confluence of two rivers, Gurthap Keep was a bastion of strength and a haven for the Cult of the Red God. Here, priests of old sacrificed over the tomb of long dead Kha M Thir, honoring him for his long service to the Red God.

They added bastions to the keep, walls, a temple and barracks. From there they terrorized the surrounding country, raiding the villages of Alice, Greenbriar and Ends Meet until at last the rangers gathered against the Cult and overthrew it. They drove them from their walls and those they did not slay, fled into the Darkenfold to the south.

The castle has sat thus ever since, a grim testament to the gods of the old world. The forest has consumed it and only the memories of men keep it alive. But within its abandoned walls lie the shadows of yesteryear. For the tomb of Kah M Thir was never found and the secrets of the priests of the Red God never fully revealed.

Falls the Divide is an adventure for 3-5 characters of around 5th to 8th level.

Ends Meet is a town of small intrigues in a forgotten corner of a wide world, but one whose very presence at the end of the road draws all manner of creatures, both good and evil. And when the casket of a child is unearthed by a violent storm, it triggers a series of events the town’s inhabitants will talk about for years to come.

This module includes an adventure that pits the characters against evil forces that have long lingered in the wood, a history of the town, a map of Ends Meet and its environs, details on all the town’s major inhabitants, and a map of an abandoned crypt. It also contains a 3-D rendering of the famed Cockleburr Inn and Tavern. The module includes a complete scenario as well as a host of adventure hooks.

Long ago men built the Eniel-ot-Blaud, the Tower on the Blue River. But it fell to the ravages of time and the depredations of the wild, and its name was forgotten. That is until the Green Wizard found it and fortified it anew, making it a place of savage cruelty and one all the peoples of the forest feared.

That Green Wizard’s power has only grown and he is at last casting his eyes beyond the confines of his small realm and threatening the whole of the Darkenfold with war and bloody conquest.

Ends Meet is an adventure for 3-5 characters of around 6-10 level.

Upon the edge of the world, beneath the eaves of the Darkenfold forest, lie the Elkhorn Deeps, an unkind place, peopled by dark forces, fey, eldritch powers, and creatures, though long dead, that continue to wander the earth. Here, where men eke out a living in the shadows of the forest, lies the small burg of Lead Hill. With stone walls and stout towers, Lead Hill is a sanctuary of sorts.

But walls and towers do not keep all creatures out, nor children in. Thus begins the sad tale of two missing children, taken by the forest and carted off to what doom none will say. Harpies gather to caterwaul, a hag has been seen feeding upon uncooked meats, and the fey are more active than usual. What, or who, took the children is anyone’s guess.

Enter the Elkhorn Deeps to rescue the missing children! But be wary for things are not always as they seem and where allies and enemies work in tandem, great dangers often dwell. Above all, beware the lure of delusions.

Gods are moved by greater things than mortal man.

Lonely upon his gilded chair St. Luther, god of Aihrde, Lord of Dreams, King Palatine of Kayomar, father, and husband, sits in restless slumber. He dreams of times long forgotten and people long passed from the world. He knows not that he slumbers, nor that he dreams. He sits, dreaming forgotten dreams, stalking the corridors of his memory, reliving the moments of his life.

Forever is it the malady of kings that they forget.

He has forgotten that he left a world of enemies. He has forgotten the power of wizards and the hatred of man. He has forgotten all this and more.

Vivienne, his Queen and one great love, died. This he knew; but lost in the machinations of his Dreaming were promises made, of a ring he would give her. And for want of this her spirit lingered in the world to haunt her crypt, looking for him and the ring.

The crypt, the Friden Anhohe, is haunted by her ghost. It is up to the characters to find it, discover who or what she is and to free her from her haunted curse. But they are not alone, for an ancient and vile wizard, who wishes to gain access to the Sea of Dreams and to Saint Luther, has learned of her fate and wishes to keep her in this role, for it troubles the Lord of Dreams and makes him vulnerable to the wizard’s attack.
