WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF THE UNCHARTED SEAS!

This is a quick fire game of naval combat, where awesome machines of war fight in a world of high fantasy. There is nothing frilly, or gimmicky in this world – you need to be prepared for deadly carnage as you battle to survive the onslaught of your enemies!

We have created eight core races for you to choose from: Dragon Lords, Imperial Humans, Shroud Mages, Iron Dwarves, Bone Griffons, Orc Raiders, Thaniras Elves and the Ralgard. Take a look at these exciting races (links to the right) and choose one that best suits your gaming needs.

Each race has a selection of high quality resin and pewter miniatures with which you can build your mighty armadas. But this game isn’t just about naval ships. There are giants, flying creatures, monsters from beneath the waves and more. Our models are 1/600th scale, which means that a battleship is, on average, 130mm long. These models have an impact in the game, and this is replicated in the physical size of the ships on the gaming table.

To make selecting your fleet easy we have created Starter Fleets, the core building block from which you can assemble your tabletop force. Inside our upcoming new boxed sets are a variety of models (9 to 11 depending upon which fleet you choose), a 16-page full colour Quick Play Rulebook, 16-page Fleet Guide that introduces your models and fleet, templates & tokens. Just add dice and a tape measure and you’re ready to blast your opponent’s fleet to the bottom of the sea.

Our new Starter Fleet boxes will include the 16-page Quick Play Rulebook and 16-page Fleet Guides. Our current Starter Fleets do not include these printed materials.

To these Starter Fleets you can add a variety of upgrades, including Heavy Cruisers, Destroyers, Submersibles, Monsters, Flagships and more… Orc Raiders and Thaniras Elves

The Core rules
The whole premise of the Uncharted Seas rules is deliver a fast and fun game. Our aim is to have a game finished within in 1.5 to 2 hours – or longer if you want to play multiplayer games or use large fleets.

Although each fleet comes with a Quick Play Rulebook we also have an A4 Master Rulebook available, which is full of examples and extra rules, including our exciting Game Card system, Aerial Combat rules, Underwater rules and more.

Our Game Card system is a fun way to expand upon the core game. You can buy a deck of 26 Game Cards for each of our eight races and these can be used to spice up a battle, adding a fog of war to your games, and introducing magic to many races.

In Summary
This is the first tabletop game that Spartan Games released in 2009, and one that we continue to support with rolling developments. 2011 saw a major investment in re-sculpting the entire range of models, embracing the digital age to make our models even more detailed. Our core rules are currently in their 2nd Edition, having firmly established themselves as a fast, fun and easy to learn game engine.
