One of the most iconic tanks ever built, the M4A1 Sherman is the basis for so many great designs. Looking for some a little different, add a 105mm Gun M4 to add some High Explosive to your Platoon.

The M4A1 Sherman (76mm), much like it’s slightly less powerful brother, is one of the most recognisable tanks of World War II and can be counted on to perform reliably in almost any role on the battlefield. It bring a solid set of stats with a firepower of 5 standing out amongst the crowd meaning you can get away with little to no upgrades. Of course if you want to make a good thing better, then it is hard to beat a Vertical Stabilizer to give your tank an advantage on the move, whilst the Wright Continental R-975C4 engine that enhances your tanks initiative can benefit both M4 Sherman variants, as well as the “yet-to-be-released” M18 Hellcat (can someone say “spoiler”?).

The American M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo is the big-boned brother of the classic Sherman, with 2 survivability making this a tough target to damage.

Turbo charger and the Ford GAA Engine help the Jumbo position while the 76mm Gun M1A1 makes it pack a little more punch.

The American M4A3E8 Sherman is a favourite tank for all ‘Furious’ commanders. This version is an upgrade over previous Shermans with a Firepower of 5, and 5 Hit Points. Turbocharger and a Ford GAA engine boost the M4A3E8s Initiative to an impressive 10 in the movement phase so you can get the jump on your opponent. Use this tank straight out of the box, or enhance it with a wide variety of upgrades to meet your situational and strategic needs.

The American M7 Priest gives your Americans some long-range fire support. Requesting Fire allows you to draw Line of Sight from any friendly vehicle, allowing your SPGs to hit targets that would otherwise be behind cover. Pair this with your light tanks and keep your SPGs hidden to create a deadly combination! You can also load Burst HE Shells to apply the new Stunned Critical token to all enemy tanks within Close Range and Line of Sight of your target, or load Light HEAT Shells for when damage matters more than critical hits.

The American T26E4 Super Pershing is a Medium tank wearing Heavy tank clothing! With big Survivability and big Firepower this tank is ready to brawl with the heavies. Attach a full crew with a Mentor Commander and an Improved Rotation Mechanism to increase the Initiative and get a tactical edge.

The American T29 is the start of an instantly recognisable heavy tank line, with incredibly strong frontal armour and a huge 105mm gun to boot. Equip the 90mm Gun M3 to bump up the damage, and use Norma Burton and Modified Configuration to keep the T29 on the battlefield for longer.

A lethal Tank Destroyer, the T95 was designed to take on German fortifications on the way to Berlin. If its 105mm gun can knock out a bunker then an enemy tank is easy work.

M3 LEE
Used by both the American and British forces in the deserts of North Africa, the M3 Lee was eventually replaced by the M4 Sherman.
With a good mix of stats, it is the perfect choice for Platoon Commanders on a budget, or those looking for a blank canvas to improve upon.

M4A1 SHERMAN
The M4 Sherman was the next step in American tank development and fought right through to the conclusion of World War II.
Much like its predecessor, the Sherman can easily be fine-tuned to perform almost any role on the battlefield.

M10 WOLVERINE
Seek, Strike and Destroy was the motto of American Tank Destroyers during World War II, something they were very good at.
On the battlefield the M10 Wolverine is a glass cannon, bringing plenty of punch to the battlefield but at the expense of armour and Survivability.

M4A1 SHERMAN (76mm)
The M4 Sherman tank was extensively used throughout World War II and as the war progressed was upgraded with the effective 76mm gun, capable of knocking out the increasingly heavily armored enemy tanks. With a reliable set of base stats, the Sherman is ready for any job on the battlefield.

M7 PRIEST
Initially deployed in the deserts of North Africa, M7 Priests continued to see action through to the Korean War where the flexibility of self-propelled guns was an asset. Best when deployed out of the enemy’s sight, SPGs can rain shells down on enemy targets with impunity assuming there is a friendly tank to spot for them.

M18 HELLCAT
The Hellcat was the most effective U.S. tank destroyer of World War II with a higher kill to loss ratio than any other tank or tank destroyer. Combining good Firepower with excellent Mobility and Initiative, it is the perfect choice for aggressive Platoon Commanders that like to hunt down their enemies.

The British Achilles takes the flexibilty of the American M10 Wolverine and throws a bigger gun into the mix to increase the leathality!

The British Archer is a unique way to bring a lot of firepower to the table for a low cost. Built on the Valentine chassis, it has low Mobility and Survivability, but with the Tank Destroyer special rule finding some Cover can mitigate this.

The OQF 17-Pdr AT Gun Mk. VII is an easy way to get that extra attack dice

The mobile British Centurion Mk. 1 is the perfect upgrade platform, with upgrades to both the gun and turret increasing armour and firepower. Upgrade to the OQF 17-Pdr AT Gun Mk. VII for a Firepower boost, or further update to the Mk. 3 standard with the Centurion Mk. III turret and OQF 20-Pdr Gun Type A Barrel for more armour and hitting power.

The British Challenger is the perfect tank-destroyer for an aggressive commander, combining 3 Mobility to quickly relocate and find enemy flanks with 6 Firepower to dish out huge damage, whilst having great staying power with good Survivability and Hit Points. Mounting the Avenger Turret paired with the OQF 32-PDR AT Gun Mk. II turns the Challenger into a glass canon, trading some of its Survivability for even more Firepower for when you really need to blow some tanks up.

The British Churchill I is a Heavy tank for the Budget conscious commander. Where it shines is its flexibility with Upgrade Modules – upgrade to the Churchill III turret, swap out for the QF 2-Pdr Mk.X or 75mm Vickers HV gun and you can build this tank to fill whatever need you have.

This wave is the Self Propelled Gun wave, and we kick things off with the Brits! The British Sexton II is an SPG for the commander on a budget. SPGs bring a raft of new mechanics to the game, and the Sexton II is no exception; use Burst HE Shells to cause a massive explosion, stunning all nearby tanks, or load Light HEAT Shells for more damage. Of course, the highlight of SPGs is their ability to fire anywhere at any spotted target, so add Requesting Fire and your British can now receive support anywhere on the table.

Much like its namesake the Tortoise has a heavily armoured shell that makes it resistant to enemy fire from any direction and whilst it isn’t that fast it packs a mighty snap.
