War! The threat of the Separatist Alliance is spreading, leaving plundered worlds and petty tyrants in its wake. To counter this menace, the Galactic Republic has mobilized its fleets, meeting the Separatists in epic clashes among the stars. Guided by the ideals of the Republic, the ancient Jedi Order and legions of clone troopers manning these ships fight to bring a swift end to the chaos of the Clone Wars and restore peace to the galaxy.

Additionally, players will also find all the essential components needed for one player to learn the game, making this the perfect entry point for new players or veterans looking to experiment with new ships.

Republic Fighter Squadrons Expansion Pack
With the fate of the Republic hanging in the balance, Jedi and clones alike do more than just crew capital ships in the large-scale space battles of the Clone Wars. They also take to a variety of starfighters to counter the Separatist threat and the Republic Fighter Squadrons Expansion Pack brings the power of the Republic Navy’s redoubtable starfighter corps to Star Wars: Armada, giving you access to skillful Jedi and elite clone pilots that expand your fighter squadron options.

This pack includes everything you need to add eight more fighter squadrons to your fleet, including seven elite pilots. Devastate your opponent’s squadrons with the speed and power of the Delta-7 Aethersprite, bombard their capital ships with BTL-B Y-wings, control the battlefield with heavy ARC-170 Starfighters, and escort your own forces with versatile V-19 Torrents.

In addition to two squadrons of each type of fighter, you’ll also find everything you need to use them in battle in this expansion, including 10 squadron disks, eight activation sliders, and 11 squadron cards.

Star Wars Armada: Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack
Star Wars Armada: Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack

Han Solo, Boba Fett, and a handful of the galaxy's most notorious rogues and villains race to the battlefield in the Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack for Star Wars: Armada!

You’ll find eight irregular squadrons, including some of the Star Wars galaxy's most recognizable freighters, patrol craft, and bombers, each of which can be represented in your games by either a non-unique squadron card or flown by an ace. Like the squadrons from the Core Set and the first wave of expansions, these come unpainted, but are presented in colors that complement their fleets

Featuring some of the Star Wars galaxy's best known freighters, patrol craft, and bombers, the Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack introduces eight new irregular squadrons to Armada, each of which can be represented by either a non-unique squadron card or flown by an ace. Like the squadrons from the Core Set and the first wave of expansions, these come unpainted, but are presented in colors that complement their fleets.

Meanwhile, since these squadrons include the signature starships of some of the galaxy's most individualistic pilots, each is represented by a single miniature, and several of them allow you to take advantage of the new Rogue keyword, which grants a squadron the ability to both move and attack when it's activated during the squadron phase. Still, that's not the only new keyword introduced in this collection; both the Grit and Intel keywords appear on a number of its squadrons and introduce new tactical abilities that can help you steer the course of your Armada conflicts.

• A squadron expansion pack for the Star Wars: Armada miniatures game
• Eight irregular squadrons are divided evenly between the Rebel Alliance and Imperial Navy
• Introduces Han Solo, Boba Fett, and more of the galaxy’s most notorious rogues and villains

Star Wars Armada: Separatist Alliance Fleet Starter
Star Wars Armada: Separatist Alliance Fleet Starter

Turmoil is spreading across the Star Wars galaxy. Commanded by the sinister Count Dooku, the Separatist Alliance has drawn numerous worlds into open insurrection against the Galactic Republic. Massive Separatist fleets crewed by battle droids and commanded by nefarious corporate leaders move from the Outer Rim to the Core Worlds, launching fresh assaults after each one the Republic thwarts. As the Separatists bring the full weight of their armada to bear, it could bring the Republic crashing down at any moment.

With three highly-detailed, pre-painted capital ships, two commanders, and 12 starfighter squadrons between them, these expansions form the foundations for your Separatist fleet and invite you to begin your quest to dominate the galaxy. What’s more, you’ll also find all essential components needed for one player to begin playing Armada, making this the perfect entry point for new players or veterans looking to explore a new faction alike.

Separatist Alliance Fleet Starter
The Separatist Alliance enters Star Wars: Armada prepared for war. Backed by corporate entities like the Trade Federation and Techno Union, its powerful warships and vast reserves of droid forces pose a threat to even the wisest Jedi Knights and their crews of clone troopers. As you begin your campaign to overthrow the Republic, the Separatist Alliance Fleet Starter is the ideal entry point to the battles of the Clone Wars.

Within this set, you’ll find everything you need to begin building your own massive Separatist fleet, including a Munificent-class Frigate and two Hardcell-class Transport miniatures. Six ship cards give you the power to fine-tune your fleet by deploying them in one of two variants while twenty upgrade cards invite you to further customize your ships with additional officers, weapons, titles, and more. Add a cunning T-Series Tactical Droid to boost your ship’s performance or take command of ships like the Tide of Progress XII and shrug off some incoming damage.

But no fleet is complete without starfighters and the Separatist Alliance prefers to overwhelm their opponents with countless swarms of Vulture-class Droid Fighters. This expansion puts four of these squadrons at your disposal, and you’re free to use the standard model or dispatch the upgraded Haor Chall Prototypes to complete your objectives.

Whatever ships and squadrons you choose to deploy, the Separatist Alliance Fleet Starter does more than just introduce the Separatist Alliance as a new faction. It also contains all of the components necessary to learn and play the game, including nine attack dice, 10 command dials, eight speed dials, 12 objective cards, six obstacle tokens, a range ruler, and a maneuver tool.

Star Wars Armada: Victory-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack
Star Wars Armada: Victory-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack

The largest and most powerful of the starships from the Armada Core Set, the Victory-class Star Destroyer formed the core of the Imperial Navy at the outset of the Galactic Civil War. These ships measure roughly nine-hundred meters in length, sport crews numbering over five-thousand, and feature a dagger-shaped design that allows them to concentrate nearly all their weapons on their forward firing arcs.

The Victory-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack bolsters your fleet with one sculpted and pre-painted miniature Star Destroyer identical to the Star Destroyer miniature from the Core Set. It also comes with all requisite tokens and command dials, as well as more than a dozen ship and upgrade cards. The expansion’s two ship cards allow you to outfit your Star Destroyer as either a Victory I or Victory II, and its fourteen upgrades open a wide range of strategic possibilities as they allow you to upgrade your armament, your crew, and even your Star Destroyers themselves.

Available in both the Core Set and the Victory-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack, the Victory-class Star Destroyer can be fielded as either of two subclasses. The more powerful Victory II costs eighty-five fleet points, and the Victory I, which is very nearly as imposing, costs seventy-three.

These ships are the same in the expansion pack as they are in the Core Set, but the upgrades differ. And, as you can begin to guess from a look at their action bars, the different Victory-class Star Destroyers can each field an astonishing array of upgrades.

Both the Victory I and Victory II can host as many as five standard upgrades, plus a title. Additionally, the Victory-class Star Destroyer can serve as an excellent flagship for your commander, so you can theoretically associate as many as seven upgrade cards with a single Victory-class Star Destroyer.

Notably, though, the Victory II features the ion cannon upgrade type while the Victory I features the missile upgrade type. A small differences in icons that might slip your notice at first, this is the sort of distinction to which shrewd commanders will pay close attention as they assemble their fleets.

For example, the Victory I can equip the Assault Concussion Missiles upgrade. Then, whenever your attack includes a result on a black attack die, you can deal one point of damage to each hull zone adjacent to the defending hull zone. You can only trigger one critical effect per attack, so if you trigger the effect from your Assault Concussion Missiles, you won’t deal a faceup damage card to the enemy ship; of course, the exchange is that you will deal an extra two points of damage.

On the other hand, the Victory II can equip either the Overload Pulse or the Ion Cannon Batteries found in the Victory-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack. You can trigger the critical effect of either of these upgrades whenever you roll a result on a blue attack die. If you’ve equipped an Overload Pulse, you can exhaust all of the defending ship’s defense tokens, leaving it, effectively, a sitting duck for the remainder of the round. Or if you’ve equipped the Ion Cannon Batteries, you can strip away a ship’s command tokens, leaving it with fewer and weaker command options.

As you can see, the upgrades that you select for your ships will drastically impact your strategy, and that means that each of the fourteen upgrades from the Victory-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack offers its own range of strategic concerns. However, no upgrade cards offer more far-reaching strategic concerns than new commanders and title cards.

Even though the Core Set offers a wide enough range of ship cards, squadrons, and upgrades to permit a great deal of fleet-building flexibility, it includes only one commander card for each faction and just one title for each type of ship. The Imperials gain Grand Moff Tarkin as their sole commander, and any Imperial looking to field a unique Victory-class Star Destroyer must choose to field the Dominator.

These are both solid options, but the Imperial Navy gains greater flexibility with the Victory-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack. Admiral Motti offers his services as commander, and you can field the Corrupter or Warlord instead of the Dominator (or alongside it).

These cards greatly expand the range of possible synergies you’ll be able to develop within your fleet, as do the expansion’s eleven other crew members, teams, hangar bays, and armaments. Accordingly, the Victory-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack, like each Armada expansion, isn’t just all about its pre-painted miniature Star Destroyer; it’s about harnessing enough firepower to put the fear of the Empire into your opponents.

This is not a complete game experience. A copy of the Star Wars: Armada Core Set is required to play.

• Two ship cards allow you to outfit your Star Destroyer as a Victory I or Victory II

Star Wars Armada: Gladiator-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack
Star Wars Armada: Gladiator-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack

Originally designed as an escort for larger Star Destroyers, the smaller Gladiator-class Star Destroyer measures roughly five-hundred meters and proved most effective as a long-range patrol ship deployed to the fringes of the galaxy. There, its brutal armament of turbolasers, concussion missiles, laser cannons, and TIE squadrons allowed it to quickly subjugate any local opposition to the Galactic Empire.

The Gladiator-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack for Star Wars: Armada introduces one detailed and pre-painted miniature that the expansion’s two ship cards allow you to add to your fleet as either a Gladiator I or Gladiator II. You’ll also find all the command dials and tokens that you need to bring your Star Destroyer to battle, along with ten upgrade cards that can enhance its attacks, allow it to move between attacks, and improve its accuracy.

Less powerful and less resilient than the Victory-class, the Gladiator-class Star Destroyer is also less expensive, costing either fifty-six fleet points for the Gladiator I or sixty-two fleet points for the Gladiator II.

And while it’s not as powerful as the Victory-class, the Gladiator-class – in many ways – features a better balance of strengths. Instead of the Victory’s six forward-facing attack dice, the Gladiator features four, but it can also fire four dice from both its left and right hull zones, as opposed to the three dice that the Victory fires from its sides.

Simultaneously, the Gladiator trades away one of the Victory’s redirect tokens for an evade token, reducing its ability to rely upon its shields for protection, but increasing its ability to evade attacks at long range.

Perhaps more importantly, the Gladiator is a faster and nimbler ship, with a maximum speed of “3” – as opposed to the Victory’s maximum speed of “2” – and a command rating of “2.” The reduced command, of course, limits the number of tokens your Gladiator-class Star Destroyer can store, but it also means that you’ll be able to react more swiftly to your opponent’s tactics.

Its increased maximum speed is also important because the Gladiator features no medium-range blue attack dice. Instead, it features a hefty dose of potent, close-range black dice, so any admiral fielding a Gladiator-class Star Destroyer will want to find a way to race it into position to fire as quickly as possible.

One of those ways may be to take advantage of the upgrades and titles that appear in the expansion. Engine Techs nearly double the efficiency of your navigation commands, and though the Demolisher title doesn’t directly add to your ship’s speed, by allowing your Gladiator-class to fire after moving, it greatly increases your ability to get into position to fire at the target of your choice as early as possible.

Likewise, by increasing the range of your black attack dice from close to medium whenever you attack the rear hull zone of an enemy ship, the Insidious title also adds to your range and maneuverability. Moreover, if you happen to equip your Gladiator-class with Expanded Launchers, you could fire as many as four of those black dice at medium-range.

Finally, the Gladiator-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack comes with a commander upgrade of its own, Admiral Screed, who presents an interesting alternative for Grand Moff Tarkin or Admiral Motti.

The fact that you can use Admiral Screed’s ability once per activation means that you can apply it to each capital ship in your fleet. However, activating it requires the sacrifice of one of your attack dice. In the case where you roll two blanks, the decision to sacrifice one of them to turn the other into a critical result is a relative no-brainer, but those situations should be relatively rare. The blue attack die has no blank faces, and the red and black attack dice have only two blank faces each.

In certain situations, you might even elect to give up the raw number of damage cards that you force onto your opponent’s hull in order to turn the first two of them faceup with the XX-9 Turbolasers found in the Victory-class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack.

This is not a complete game experience. A copy of the Star Wars: Armada Core Set is required to play.

Star Wars Armada: Imperial Assault Carriers Expansion Pack
Star Wars Armada: Imperial Assault Carriers Expansion Pack

The Galactic Civil War rages on, and so do the tactical fleet battles of Star Wars: Armada. In Armada, you assume the role of fleet admiral with either the Galactic Empire or Rebel Alliance, assemble your ships, and fly to meet the enemy. The combats are big and brutal, and your strategy must balance your focus on the objective against the destruction of your enemy.

The game's rules for fleet building permit you the freedom to fly the ships that best suit your strategy, and each wave of expansions adds new options for you to pursue. Wave I allowed you to build your fleet to full strength, introducing a classic assortment of ships and starfighters, including Victory-class Star Destroyers, Nebulon-B frigates, TIE fighters, and X-wing squadrons. Wave II increased the game's scope even further, adding the Imperial-class Star Destroyer and Home One as the first large-base ships and increasing the standard fleet build to a full 400 points.

Now, even as the game's core experience remains rooted in your ability to plan your approach, command your ships, and obliterate your enemy, Wave III introduces yet another dimension to your battles. Its two expansions, the Imperial Assault Carriers Expansion Pack and the Rebel Transports Expansion Pack, introduce the "flotilla" to Armada. Treated like standard ships—with a couple of notable exceptions—flotillas come with a host of inexpensive, highly tactical abilities that allow you to coordinate your fleet more closely than ever!

Introducing the Flotilla
The flotilla enters Wave III as an all-new type of ship. Flotillas operate in most ways the same as larger ships, but because they represent multiple, smaller ships, flotillas feature two plastic ship models, instead of one. Apart from this difference, they follow the same rules as other ships, with one exception—when a flotilla would overlap or be overlapped by another ship, only the flotilla takes a facedown damage card. You do not deal a facedown damage card to the closest ship the flotilla overlapped unless that ship is also a flotilla.

Flotillas, however, do more than merely introduce a new type of ship; they also introduce a new fleet support role that you can incorporate into your fleet and games. Both of the flotillas in Wave III feature the Fleet Support upgrade icon. These upgrades are remarkable in Armada because they do less to improve the ship that bears them than they do to boost the rest of your fleet. Bolster your squadrons, repair your ships, or improve your larger ships' ability to respond to immediate threats—Fleet Support upgrades ensure that your flotillas can play a useful role in any attack plan.

Imperial Assault Carriers Expansion Pack
The popular Gozanti-class cruiser arrives to Armada in Wave III in the Imperial Assault Carriers Expansion Pack.

With just one die in their left, right, and forward battery armaments, and no dice to fire from their rear arcs, your flotilla of Gozanti-class cruisers is not going to intimidate your opponent into surrender, but only a fool would dismiss their impact. First of all, a flotilla of Imperial assault carriers comes with a fleet-point cost more comparable to your fighter squadrons than your other ships. Next, it gains a surprising measure of survivability from its scatter and evade tokens. Most important, however, is the wide range of abilities that your Gozanti-class bring to battle with its new Fleet Support upgrades.

Of the expansion's eight upgrades, half of them bear the Fleet Support icon. Unlike most upgrades, these do not add muscle to the ship that equips them, but to the other ships and squadrons in your fleet. Accordingly, you might use your Imperial assault carrier to add punch to a Bomber build by equipping a Bomber Command Center , or you might equip a Comms Net to provide critical command flexibility to your larger ships. No matter which Fleet Support upgrade it equips, your flotilla of Imperial assault carriers does more than add another piece to the puzzle; it binds those pieces together.

• An Imperial starship expansion for the popular Star Wars: Armada miniatures game
• Introduces the “flotilla” as a new type of small-base ship
• The new Fleet Support upgrade type allows you to coordinate and support your fleet
• Permits a wide range of new Imperial tactics
• Eight upgrades include four Fleet Support upgrades, plus a new commander

Star Wars Armada: Imperial Light Carrier Expansion Pack
Star Wars Armada: Imperial Light Carrier Expansion Pack

Capable of acting as a mobile starfighter base over occupied worlds, the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier is an ideal garrison vessel. It can support operations even in the most primitive conditions, and it bristles with laser turrets that allow it to defend itself while its fighter craft are away on crucial missions.

The Imperial Light Carrier Expansion Pack brings the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier to your tabletop as a pre-painted, medium-base starship with six hull, three dice in its forward battery armament, and a whopping squadron value of "4."

It's supported by two ship cards and a total of ten upgrades that provide a new commander, three Title upgrades, some additional offensive firepower—and the game's first dual-slot upgrade. Requiring and occupying both the Weapons Team and Offensive Retrofit upgrade slots, the Imperial Light Carrier's Boarding Troopers can wreak havoc upon an enemy's defenses, punishing anyone who flies his or her ship too close to the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier that you'd rather keep back behind your fighter screen.

The Boarding Troopers' ability to spend your opponent's defense tokens is further amplified when used in conjunction with Admiral Sloane. Whether you attack first with your squadrons and follow up with your Boarding Troopers, or visa versa, Admiral Sloane makes it possible for you to exhaust and then discard an enemy ship's full complement of defense tokens!

• The Quasar Fire-class cruiser carrier is a powerful squadron support ship
• Two ship cards and ten upgrades allow you to outfit your light carrier multiple ways

Star Wars Armada: Imperial Light Cruiser Expansion Pack
Star Wars Armada: Imperial Light Cruiser Expansion Pack

The Imperial light cruiser is a communications and blockade ship used to help the Empire spread its domain throughout the galaxy. Quicker and more maneuverable than a Star Destroyer, the Arquitens-class light cruiser was frequently deployed to the Outer Rim to help strangle isolated rebel cells.

Of course, its speed is only one part of the threat it presents. The light cruiser is also a powerful vessel, armed with quad lasers, turbolasers, and concussion missiles. In numbers, it can menace even the largest enemy warships.

In Armada, the Imperial Light Cruiser Expansion Pack presents this ship as a fast, small-base Imperial vessel that excels at providing long-range fire support from its broadsides. In addition to its pre-painted miniature Arquitens-class light cruiser, the expansion also contains two ship cards, and eight upgrades, including the new commander Moff Jerjerrod , whose ability allows your ships to react more quickly to any asteroid fields or other obstacles they may encounter during battle. You will also find all the command dials, plastic, and tokens necessary to send your light cruiser racing around the Rebels' flanks and into a new era for Imperial tactics.

• An Imperial starship expansion for the popular Star Wars: Armada miniatures game
• Features one small-base, pre-painted Arquitens-class light cruiser
• Partners outstanding speed and maneuverability with a potent broadside armament

Star Wars Armada: Imperial Raider Expansion Pack
Star Wars Armada: Imperial Raider Expansion Pack

The Raider-class corvette is the Empire's response to the need for a designated antifighter vessel. The Imperial Raider Expansion Pack brings this ship’s six dual heavy laser cannons to Star Wars: Armada, where its utility against snubfighters and the disruptive effects of its ion cannon emplacements, along with the efficiency of its localized command, make it a powerful addition to any Imperial fleet. In addition to its pre-painted, small-base Raider miniature, this expansion introduces eight upgrade cards, a command dial, speed dial, and all requisite tokens.

First introduced to the world as a huge starship designed for Epic games of X-Wing, the Raider-class corvette is the Empire's response to the need for a designated anti-fighter vessel. Its six dual heavy laser cannons are more accurate against snubfighters than the turbolaser batteries of its Star Destroyer cousins, and the disruptive effects of its ion cannon emplacements, along with the efficiency of its localized command, make it a powerful addition to small strike forces.

This potent anti-fighter starship enters Armada in the Imperial Raider Expansion Pack. The second small ship for the Imperial Navy, the Raider is a quick and nimble ship that excels at dealing with pesky starfighter squadrons, but it can just as easily dart across the battlefield to pour concentrated fire into the broadside of a Rebel cruiser. Whether you field your pre-painted miniature as a Raider I-class Corvette or Raider II-class Corvette, the Imperial Raider Expansion Pack offers you plenty of ways to customize it for battle with either squadrons or capital ships. Among its eight upgrade cards, you'll find Ordnance Experts, a new commander, Quad Laser Turrets, two unique titles, and more.

Of course, as always, the Imperial Raider Expansion Pack comes with a command dial, speed dial, and all the tokens you need to enter the fray.

• An Imperial starship expansion for the Star Wars: Armada miniatures game
• Features one pre-painted, small-base Raider-class corvette miniature
• Offers Imperial fleets an excellent counter to fighter-based Rebel strategies
• Eight upgrade cards allow you to dramatically alter the way you utilize your Raider

Star Wars Armada: Rebel Fighter Squadrons II Expansion Pack
Star Wars Armada: Rebel Fighter Squadrons II Expansion Pack

Even while the Rebels and Imperials have been hard at work getting their ships ready for battle, the galaxy's shipyards have been fast assembling a wide range of new fighters. Just as the Rogue and Intel keywords added new dimensions to your Wave II squadrons and altered the dynamics of your battles, the new Wave V starfighters promise to add even more tactical wrinkles.

The Rebel Fighter Squadrons II Expansion Pack leads the way with these new tactics, granting you access to two copies each of the Z-95 Headhunter Squadrons and E-wing Squadrons, as well as two copies each of irregular squadrons featuring the Shadow Caster and the Ghost. Additionally, you will find eight squadron cards, two for each type of squadron, allowing you to field any of these versatile fighters in battle as a unique or non-unique squadron.

In addition to presenting the Rebel Alliance with its first Swarm fighters, these squadrons introduce the new Snipe and Strategic keywords, which are bound to alter the ways that you and your opponents approach your initial fighter engagements. Additionally, in her Ghost, Hera Syndulla serves as another rallying point, behind the Phoenix Home. At the start of the Squadron Phase, she can choose up to two friendly squadrons at distance 1–2 and give those squadrons the Rogue keyword (and the ability to activate themselves) until the end of the round.

Star Wars Armada: Super Star Destroyer Expansion Pack
Star Wars Armada: Super Star Destroyer Expansion Pack

Something huge is coming to Star Wars: Armada!

This expansion pack arrives to swell the forces of the Galactic Empire with the first ship of an entirely new class—huge ships. The pre-painted, beautifully sculpted Super Star Destroyer miniature within this expansion is the largest miniature yet created by Fantasy Flight Games, measuring over 24 inches from tip to tip.

Of course, such a huge miniature serves as a stunning reminder of Imperial might on the battlefield—and it’s also a fully functional warship that you can add to your Imperial fleets. With four unique ship sheets, an assortment of tokens, and twenty-four upgrade cards, including iconic commanders like Admiral Piett and Emperor Palpatine, any rival fleet will tremble to face the might of your onslaught.

Unparalleled Size
It’s immediately plain from the size of the Super Star Destroyer alone that this miniature is something special, unlike anything that has yet flown onto your table in Star Wars: Armada. In fact, the Super Star Destroyer is so large that it’s supported by one ship token placed on top of two standard large ship bases!

We’ve already mentioned that the introduction of the Super Star Destroyer also marks the introduction of a new class of ships: huge ships. And this new class of ship has powers that reach far beyond mere size. For instance, the Super Star Destroyer features a total of six firing arcs—supplementing the standard front, rear, left, and right firing arcs with brand-new right-auxiliary and left-auxiliary firing arcs. And as you might expect, a huge ship like the Super Star Destroyer increases its attack powers to go with its extra firing arcs. The Super Star Destroyer can make up to three attacks from different firing arcs every round of the game.

The Super Star Destroyer has six distinct firing arcs—forward, left, left-auxiliary, rear, right, and right-auxiliary.

If the time for you to launch your attack has not yet arrived, huge ships also have the unique ability to pass. Once per round, when you would have to activate the Super Star Destroyer, you can choose instead to pass, allowing your opponent to activate another ship. Although the Super Star Destroyer must still activate each round, the ability to pass and delay your activation temporarily can lead your opponent directly into your trap.

Even the command dials you assign to a Super Star Destroyer become more powerful. When you resolve one of these command tokens, you’ll also assign the corresponding command token to your ship! By getting more impact out of every command dial you assign to the Super Star Destroyer, you’ll be prepared to take on the entire enemy fleet on your own.

Unmatched Firepower
All of the advantages we’ve described so far are common to every huge ship—but the Super Star Destroyer has plenty of power to offer on its own merits. The cheapest way for you to field the Super Star Destroyer is by spending 220 points for the Star Dreadnought Command Prototype. With eight attack dice from its forward firing arc, six ship tokens, a hull value of twenty-two, and nine upgrade slots, the Star Dreadnought Command Prototype offers a truly jaw-dropping addition to an Imperial fleet. And each of the other ship variants in the Super Star Destroyer Expansion Pack is even more expensive and even more powerful than the Star Dreadnought Command Prototype!

Still, it’s not purely the ship that makes the Super Star Destroyer Expansion Pack so impressive. There’s also a wealth of upgrade cards that are sure to be valuable to Imperial players across the galaxy, including the debut of Emperor Palpatine himself as a commander in Star Wars: Armada.

If you want to have the Emperor bless your efforts with his presence, it won’t come easily—Emperor Palpatine costs 35 points to equip as a commander for your Imperial forces. Still, his effects can be deadly as you work to pick apart and destroy your opponent’s defenses. After you deploy fleets, you’ll place one defense token of each type on Emperor Palpatine. Before any ships activate in a round, you can discard one of these tokens. For the rest of the round, if any enemy ship or squadron would spend a matching token, they must discard it instead!

In a fashion that’s truly fitting of the Sith Lord, you can manipulate your opponent’s actions with Emperor Palpatine. If you choose wisely, you may limit your opponent’s options and leave his plans in ruins, as he must choose to lose his most important defense tokens permanently or watch his ships disintegrate under the massive attacks of your Super Star Destroyer.

The Might of the Empire
The Imperial fleet is a force to be feared across the galaxy, and with their largest and most powerful capital ship deploying to your tables in Star Wars: Armada, you can crush your rivals in your grasp.

From assigning iconic commanders and officers to lead your fleets to outfitting your ships with additional weapons and ordnance, you’re free to fine tune your fleets down to the last detail.

Bringing together a hangar bay of 290 essential upgrades in a new standard-sized card format, the Upgrade Card Collection gives you the flexibility to immediately start assembling the perfect fleet.

Upgrade Card Collection
Customization is at the heart of Star Wars: Armada. Since the game was launched, players have been free to unlock new tactical possibilities by equipping their ships with upgrade cards. From there, ship expansions have brought additional upgrade options with them, broadening game’s already epic scope.

The Upgrade Card Collection conveniently puts the entire library of all upgrades previously printed as mini cards at your fingertips in a new standard-sized card format. Additionally, it contains duplicates of many essential upgrades such Engine Techs and XI7 Turbolasers to ensure list-building flexibility. All of these cards are also printed with updated icons to bring them in line with new rules introduced in the upcoming Clone Wars expansions.

Beyond upgrade cards, you'll also find a handful of necessary tokens in this expansion, including six proximity mine tokens, eight raid tokens, and two focus/chaff tokens, ensuring that you have everything you need to bring your fleets to life. No matter if you represent the Galactic Republic, Separatist Alliance, Galactic Empire, or the Rebel Alliance, these cards help unlock the full potential of your fleets while giving you the chance to experiment with new strategies.

Star Wars Armada: Venator-class Star Destroyer
Star Wars Armada: Venator-class Star Destroyer

In the vicious battles of the Clone Wars, Jedi Generals such as the wise Plo Koon command their forces from the bridge of mighty Venator-class Star Destroyers, earning these vessels the moniker of “Jedi Cruisers.” Kuat Drive Yards designed the ship to be flexible; capable of fighting toe-to-toe with other warships, launching wings of starfighters, and breaking blockade sieges with devastating bombardments. As a command craft and warship, the Venator-class Star Destroyer has no equal in the Republic Navy.

This Expansion Pack contains everything you need to field this commanding ship in your Republic fleets, beginning with a beautifully detailed, pre-painted Venator-class Star Destroyer miniature. A beacon of the Republic, the Venator-class Star Destroyer often leads fleets into battle and this expansion gives you two different options for adding it to your fleet on two ship cards.

As powerful as it is, the Venator-class Star Destroyer is also commanded and crewed by some of the best the Republic has to offer, including two new commanders that set the tone for your entire fleet. A Jedi Master like Luminara Unduli knows that Republic ships will need to have their defenses up if they are to survive the Separatist onslaught and helps ships in her fleets ready their defense tokens. Apprentices often carry on the wisdom of their masters, of course, and this is certainly the case with , who uses Unduli’s teachings on defense to allow a ship to redirect an attack’s damage to a completely different hull zone.

In addition to these characters, you’ll also find a wide array of other ways to customize your Venator-class Star Destroyer among the 16 upgrade cards found in this expansion, including new weaponry and other offensive and defensive enhancements.
