Shelter in Place is a live action game of zombie horror!

Have you ever wondered what you would do if you were in a zombie movie? Shelter in Place is your way to find out. This is a game of zombie horror with a twist. It blends all the fun of a good old-fashioned game of tag, with the camp and action of a zombie horror film.

Players take on the role of Zombies or Humans as they play out the events of a zombie apocalypse. Fans of live-action role-playing games will love the built-in tension system, but Shelter in Place is excellent for a summer camp game, as a team-building exercise for a hip workplace, or even a lighthearted wedding reception. What’s the twist? Well, that’s the part that you decide.

Players can take on the roles of Humans or Zombies in a desperate conflict to survive. The Humans goal is to try to survive in an area plagued by Zombies. The Zombies have a singular focus - to eat some brains. The Humans must use their wits to survive, making sacrifices in order to live through the night. The Zombies must use their brute, unrelenting strength and teamwork to overpower the humans and eat some delicious brains!

Shelter In Place is a game about managing your own needs versus the needs of the community. In order to succeed, players must find a way to cooperate with each other, be they mortal or shambling undead, while the temptation to place individual needs higher than the needs of the group is high. Zombies work best in a horde and humans can utilize their skills for defense. But there is always the temptation, in the heat of the moment, to place personal safety first. The question this game is asking is if you can think about your team before yourself, and can you trust your teammates to do the same?
