Kings of War is a mass-battle fantasy miniatures game, written by Alessio Cavatore and produced by Mantic Games. In Kings of War, massive armies of miniatures do battle on the tabletop, moving, fighting, shooting and casting magic to outmanoeuvre and outmuscle the opposition.
The game is governed by a set of easy to learn and intuitive rules, designed with simplicity in mind. You will never act in your opponent’s turn, meaning there is no time wasting, and combat is determined using six-sided dice and the innovative Nerve system.
But simplicity doesn’t mean that the game isn’t fun or challenging – flanking and rear attacks are devastating, cavalry charges are powerful and a barrage of gun fire will knock even the most hardened warrior from their feet. This is a game of tactics and strategy, played out in fast, furious and fun games.
